Job Title: Construction Manager - Onshore Wind

This role is a challenging opportunity to lead the delivery of civil and electrical packages associated with onshore wind projects. The successful candidate will have experience delivering substantial civil packages and some onshore wind project experience would be ideal.

The company provides its services across various industry sectors, including building construction, industrial, mining, resources, transport infrastructure, and environmental. As a Construction Manager, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects with values ranging from $100m to $200m+ across access roads, footings, bulk earthworks, etc.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Management of site project teams in construction delivery
  • Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
  • Resolving site issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Recruitment and mentoring of teams

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 7-20+ years' management experience on civil packages
  • Project management qualifications will be advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
