Job Description

As a member of our corporate finance team, you will play a pivotal role in representing clients across Australia and internationally.

The team advises on complex financings with multi-jurisdictional or bespoke structuring elements, acting for major Australian banks, international investment banks, and global financial institutions.

We collaborate closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions and build long-lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on corporate finance transactions, providing transaction structuring advice.
  • Prepare and negotiate finance documentation, ensuring alignment with market practice and client objectives.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, addressing issues and overseeing execution and closing.
  • Delegate and supervise junior team members, providing leadership, training, and mentoring.
  • Contribute to business development, networking, and client workshops on recent market terms and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associate / Senior Associate experience in loan markets, ideally gained in a top-tier or respected mid-tier firm or in-house.
  • Strong experience in corporate finance, including familiarity with APLMA precedents.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions to tight deadlines with partner support.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with enthusiasm for mentoring and business development.
