As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide assessment, treatment and recovery-based interventions to individuals and their families who experience serious mental illness. You will be working in a community setting, assessing, treating and continuing care of adults with mental health disorders.

About the Role

This is a fixed term contract position, working 80 hours per fortnight as a Nurse Only role. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and well-respected team, providing high-quality services and promoting positive relationships within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment and continuing care of adults with mental health disorders in a community setting
  • Maintain effective working relationships and clinical service delivery in an environment characterised by competing demands
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Psychiatric Nurse qualification
  • High level of clinical skills and experience in mental health treatment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence and ability to work a seven day rotating roster
