Investigative Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Investigative Reporting Specialist to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting in Sydney. This 12-month contract role will provide an exciting opportunity for someone to work on various reporting and client servicing tasks, driving efficiency and accuracy within our Asset Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Client Servicing: Prepare standard and customised client reports using sourced information from different databases, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Unit Price Review and Discrepancy Resolution: Regularly review daily Unit Prices, sign off, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Proxy Voting and Corporate Actions: Timely lodging of proxy voting and corporate actions.
- Data Management and Reconciliation: Reconcile end-of-day trades to IRESS and send trade files to relevant parties.
- Management Fee Calculations: Calculate management fees for funds and mandates.
- Distribution Calculations: Assist with distribution calculations (1/2 year/full year).
- Fund Accounts Audit Oversight: Provide oversight on fund accounts audits.
- Custodian Engagement: Engage with the custodian to ensure efficient operations.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain relevant databases, websites, and systems on a timely and accurate manner.
- Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis: Deliver various types of ad-hoc reports and analysis for internal teams.
- Research Reviews: Manage and execute incoming research reviews by liaising internally with Operations and Investment teams.
- Pre-Post Trade Compliance Reports: Run pre-post trade compliance reports.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support to the team, including acting as a back-up for Registry, performance, and accounting functions when required.
- Morning Reconciliations: Run morning reconciliations to ensure trades booked the prior day are correctly reflected in IMS valuations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar fund reporting/fund oversight role, ideally from an Asset Manager, or Custodian/Fund services provider.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work towards deadlines.
- Desire to surpass expectations and ambition to progress within the firm.
- Proven prioritising, planning, and coordination skills.

What We Offer:
