About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to join our team at the Karara Export Terminal in Geraldton, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
  • Provide technical expertise on Process Control Systems, standards, and maintenance for plant improvement and maintenance projects
  • Configure and maintain Fieldbus equipment on Control-net, Profibus DP and PA networks
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the Plant Historian and associated software packages
Requirements
  • Electrical qualification or Computer Science with proven control systems experience
  • Minimum 5 years working on PCS in an engineering environment
  • GE Proficy Machine Edition version 8.5 or higher programming software, training, and experience
  • GE Cimplicity SCADA version 8.2 or higher programming software, training, and experience
  • Experience or Certificate of Attainment/Participation - Microsoft Windows Server, Ethernet Industrial network, and FieldBus
  • Experience working with Windows 2019 Servers and Industrial Ethernet networking
  • Electrical, electronic, and data communications knowledge, Profibus DP and PA, Modbus/TCP, and 4-20mA
  • Experience working across all areas of a PLC and SCADA control system
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL database operations
  • Australian Citizenship or hold a valid visa with permission to work
  • A current National Police clearance required to obtain an MSIC
