Job Title: Leading Hand Hydraulic Technician / Mechanical Fitter

Fleet Hydraulics, a leading provider of hydraulic services in Geraldton, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand Hydraulic Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of hydraulic technicians and mechanical fitters, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of hydraulic systems and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supervising a team of technicians and fitters
  • Manufacturing, installing, and commissioning hydraulic mobile equipment and systems
  • Onsite troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems
  • Customer liaison and sales, including gensets, engines, and winches
  • Ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

  • A trade certificate in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of post-trade experience
  • A current driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Computer skills and experience with hydraulic systems
