We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional to join our team as a Disability Employment Consultant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others by helping individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities become work-ready and find sustainable employment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing employment opportunities for job seekers
- Helping job seekers identify their skills and abilities and secure employment
- Delivering exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers
- Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
- Creating and implementing joint job plans with job seekers to support a clear pathway to employment
- Building relationships with local employers and community organizations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willingness to complete a criminal history check
- Able to pass a working with children check
- Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
