">We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. As a key member of our Disability Employment Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting job seekers to transform their lives.
As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and securing employment opportunities for participants with local employers, supporting them to become job ready, delivering quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements, enhancing employability through training and support service referrals, developing personalized job plans, and building and maintaining positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
Our ideal candidate will be driven, solution-focused, and have a can-do approach. They will demonstrate empathy and compassion towards individuals with disabilities, injuries, or barriers to employment. A background in sales, retail, call centers, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration is desirable, but not essential. We provide full training and will help you turn your transferable skills into a new career in Employment Services.
To succeed in this role, you must have the following:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyGovID (Standard level)
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
- Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
