Facilities Attendant

This role will see you join our team at an Oakleigh gym location, as a key part of our operations.
The position is for a full-time facilities attendant to work Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the facility, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness throughout. This includes utilising a range of cleaning products and equipment to maintain cleanliness in changing rooms, toilets, saunas, stairs, flooring, and gym equipment.
In addition to this, you will also be required to provide excellent customer service, being approachable and friendly to guests, members, and staff alike. Taking responsibility and pride in your presentation and approach are essential aspects of the role.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have previous cleaning experience, be able to perform manual tasks such as heavy lifting, climbing stairs, and completing tasks at ground and overhead level. A current Level 2 First Aid certification and police check or willingness to obtain these is also a requirement.
We are looking for individuals with a professional and positive attitude, who are willing to learn and show initiative. Exceptional customer service skills and high attention-to-detail skills are also highly valued.
