Financial Markets Expertise - Murex FO Consultant

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of a high-profile Murex Binary Upgrade project. This necessitates an experienced Murex Financial Markets expert with in-depth knowledge of Front Office functionality and Profit & Loss analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and devise effective technical solutions.
  • Work in tandem with Front Office users to comprehend their needs and validate solution options.
  • Configure the Murex application as part of the implementation, including trade insertion, simulations, curve setup, and product configuration.
  • Partner with the Testing team to review test cases, coverage, and investigate any issues.
  • Resolve bugs and issues with the Murex support team as necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Murex Development.
  • 3+ years of relevant Murex Front Office experience.
  • A good understanding of at least two asset classes, including IRD, FI, Credit, FXD, FX Cash, and Commodities.
  • Experience working with Risk, Product Control or Front Office stakeholders in Markets or Treasury divisions.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of FO configuration: instruments, generators, curves, market data, market conventions, etc.
  • A good understanding of FO modules: Simulation screens, Simulation Viewer, eTradepad, P&L notepad, market operations, etc.
  • Knowledge of organization setup and User Groups / Access Rights.
