Senior Murex Trading Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex Trading Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Murex development and a strong background in Front Office trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to requirement analysis for various projects, including upgrades and regulatory initiatives
  • Understand business needs, identify solutions, and validate technical options
  • Interface between Business and IT teams regarding Murex configuration and implementation
  • Configure the application as part of the implementation process
  • Collaborate with testing teams to review test cases, coverage, and investigate issues
  • Resolve bugs and issues with Murex support
  • Design solutions for the Front Office area
  • Analyze P&L differences between versions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Murex Development experience
  • 3+ years of relevant Murex Front Office experience
  • Good knowledge of at least two asset classes (Risk and Pricing), including IRD, FI, Credit, FXD, FX Cash, and Commodities
  • Experience dealing with Risk, Product Control or Front Office stakeholders in Markets or Treasury divisions
  • Hands-on knowledge of FO configuration: instruments, generators, curves, market data, market conventions, etc
  • Understanding of FO modules: Simulation screens, Simulation Viewer, eTradepad, P&L notepad, market operations, etc
  • Analytical skills to analyze P&L and sensitivity issues within Murex
  • Knowledge of organization setup and User Groups / Access Rights
