The Performance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Coles 360 partnerships team to drive online performance and incremental revenue. Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning of supplier investment strategies to drive online performance and revenue growth
  • Identifying untapped market segments or opportunities for increased reach and revenue
  • Supporting the Coles 360 measurement suite to provide transparent and comprehensive reports on campaign performance
  • Fostering strong relationships with both Partnership Team and Advertisers to develop campaign goals and strategies that align with their objectives
  • Adjusting bids and auction performance in real-time to capitalize on emerging opportunities or mitigate underperforming areas
  • Defining clear performance objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each campaign
  • Aligning bidding strategy with these objectives
  • Generating revenue and striving to exceed target quota
  • Utilizing existing networks and intelligence tools to identify and contact prospective brand and agency contacts
  • Offering smart client research, trends, and ideas to drive interest and cultivate relationships
  • Dissecting each brand organization to uncover different rivers of funding (shopper marketing, brand, e-commerce, national media agency) with the intent to simultaneously unlock and elevate each relationship
  • Presenting dynamically and instilling confidence to challenge suppliers in a kind, smart, and creative way to ensure long-term success
  • Communicating with category managers regarding VIP account outreach, pipeline, messaging, and SKU prioritization
  • Tracking outreach and sales activity pipeline using CRM tool, Salesforce

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in advertising or media sales
  • In-depth understanding of digital and performance marketing
  • Working knowledge of retail, e-commerce, and digital monetization programs as well as Ad Tech
  • Industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in data analytics
  • Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics, and ideally a Retail Media-centric platform such as Citrus Ad, Criteo, Pacvue
  • Strong understanding of CPG environment either through direct sales experience or similar exposure
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite products
  • Efficient time management skills – able to sustain timeline management and campaign deliverables
  • Experience in various CRM, Sales Intelligence, and Ad Server platforms and/or the ability and willingness to learn quickly
