Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engine Technician Supervisor to lead our workshop team in Darwin. As a key member of our Cummins Inc. team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of engine products, coaching and developing junior technicians, and ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engine technicians to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance of engine products.
  • Coach and develop junior technicians to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in engine technology.
Requirements
  • Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
