Your Day-to-Day
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audits and reporting for a sub-unit of ALPA
  • Identify and implement impactful system improvements and automation
  • Lead, Mentor and develop team of Accountants, Assistant accountants and Finance Officers who report to this position.
  • Collaborate with leaders to guide financial decisions
  • Uphold ALPA's values and contribute to meaningful, community-focused work
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years post-qualification accounting experience
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (Dynamics 365 a bonus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A passion for linking finance with purpose and performance
Bonus Points For
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or profit-for-purpose sector
  • Familiarity with Northern Territory finance or business environments
