About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Regulatory Relations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, shaping the future of financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support and guidance for interactions with regulators, offering insights into the regulatory landscape and key messages.
  • Oversee and document all regulatory interactions, ensuring connections are identified and anticipating the information regulators will need.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for regulators, managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring appropriate resources and staff attend meetings.
  • Coordinate and track responses to regulatory requests, ensuring consistency in messaging and timely responses.
  • Maintain the Regulatory Engagement policy, outlining expectations for regulatory interactions and providing training as needed.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in legal and regulatory environments, with a proven track record working within legal settings or with prudential or conduct regulators.
  • Comprehensive financial services regulatory expertise, including significant exposure to ASIC, APRA, AFCA, and other relevant regulators.
  • Exceptional understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory framework, providing in-depth industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to think strategically and structure complex information effectively.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Outstanding planning and organisational abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
