Job Description

As an IT Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting critical ICT operations and fostering career growth in a dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

Support for Department Products
1. Provide foundational (Level 1) support for all department products.
2. Offer troubleshooting assistance for all department products as needed.
3. Assist with logging or coordinating the logging of support requests.

DCR and SDTE Infrastructure Management
4. Maintain and administer DCR and SDTE infrastructure and endpoints effectively.

Audit and Asset Management
5. Conduct thorough audits and manage assets of owned materiel at unit locations efficiently.

Product Upgrades and Maintenance
6. Coordinate product upgrades/updates/maintenance to ensure seamless execution.

Test and Evaluation Activities
7. Contribute/participate in product test and evaluation activities as required.

Support Request Triage
8. Participate in triaging support requests to ensure prompt resolution.

Maintenance Management System
9. Perform product maintenance in accordance with the department's Maintenance Management System standards.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in IT administration
- Familiarity with physical and virtual network devices
- Prior experience in IT cross-functional or project teams
- Previous experience working on ADF systems and networks
- Must hold an NV2 security clearance

Desirable Skills:
- PowerShell experience
- Understanding of cyber security principles

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with an NV2 security clearance.
