Exciting Opportunity: State Manager Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive business growth, manage operating income, and lead a team of professionals in the state. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and leadership, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

This pivotal role involves overseeing all state activities, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and championing our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare solutions to customers and patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Growth: Achieve sales and operating income objectives, implement national strategies, and negotiate new business and contracts.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Train, coach direct reports, set performance objectives, and provide ongoing support to ensure staff are properly trained and qualified.
  • Champion Safety and Compliance: Uphold high standards of OH&S and environmental matters, ensuring safe practices are followed across the state.
  • Enhance Market Presence: Promote our organization by building relationships with key decision-makers, managing agent networks, and ensuring access to products and services.
  • Oversee State Operations: Manage resource allocation, conduct regular audits, and report on financial performance, new business potential, and market activity.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in business, marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the medical device industry
  • Strong management, operations, and business development skills
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • High-level computer literacy, including experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and CRM/invoicing systems
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, staff, and customers
