About the Role

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment at Invicta Mill. This will involve troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Compliance with all safety procedures, safe work instructions, legislation, and rules
  • Assisting in the identification of the scope of work required
  • Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and fault reporting
  • Providing a maintenance service to other Mill departments
  • Installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing equipment
  • Ensuring work orders and related permits are completed and filled out correctly
  • Operating in a work-based team environment

Requirements

  • Trade qualification - Certificate III in Electrical Engineering
  • QLD Electrical fitter/mechanic license
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, including safety and environment
  • Current LVR/CPR
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, and EWP HR license
  • High Voltage switching license
  • Experience with Schneider Electric PLC
  • Good communication skills - written, spoken, listening
  • Proven self-starter attributes, self-motivated with highly developed organisational skills
  • Ability to guide and support others, and work in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
