About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a dynamic maintenance team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance to plant and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal production levels
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with plant and equipment
  • Document completed work in PRONTO and manage inventory of critical spares
  • Collaborate with maintenance electricians, operators, and process engineers to ensure efficient and timely resolution of equipment issues
  • Participate in repair and maintenance of all site plant and equipment, and assist with project work and new installations
Requirements
  • Trade Certificate and/or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Forklift license
  • Confined space license
  • Electrical disconnect/reconnect
  • Elevated work platform (EWP) over 11 m
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance processes and WH&S requirements within a production environment
