We are seeking a skilled newsreader to join our team in Adelaide. As an Afternoon and Evening Newsreader, you will be responsible for delivering live local news, sport, and weather twice an hour.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in news and current affairs, with excellent technical skills in writing, editing, and presenting talk radio news bulletins and headlines.

You will work independently during shifts, liaising closely with the News Chief of Staff, Station Manager, Content Producers, and Presenters to ensure on-air news content is current, accurate, and consistent.

This role involves interviewing, researching, writing, editing, and presenting on-air news bulletins that are recurrent, accurate, and aligned with broadcast codes of conduct, all under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality news broadcasts in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in news content
  • Managing time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Communicating effectively both orally and in writing
