We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a member of our catering unit, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to residents.

About the Role:
  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience.
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a positive team spirit.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with diverse people.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
