Cooking with care and compassion, our team at Lewisham Nursing Home is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join us in preparing high-quality meals for our residents.

  • We are looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant who will be responsible for providing resident meal service, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all.

This role involves supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit while working in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents.

About the Role:
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming and inclusive dining environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.

Requirements:

  • A passion for cooking and caring for others.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
