Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional looking to take on a key role in managing business placements and driving growth within a dynamic organization.

The Placement Manager will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while serving as a key negotiator and problem solver in obtaining the most appropriate placements based on client needs.

This is an ideal role for a senior broker wishing to demonstrate their strong relationship management and marketing skills within a fast-paced and ever-evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including underwriters, practice leaders, claims personnel and client service teams
  • Designing and implementing clear and effective renewal and broking strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborating across regions to support new business initiatives and develop new products
  • Staying up-to-date with changing market conditions and sharing insights with relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a related field, such as broking, underwriting or placement
  • A solid understanding of risk management principles and major classes of insurance (Property, Liability and Motor)
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Relevant qualifications and tertiary studies are desired but not essential
