Procurement and Contract Management Expert

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.

In this role, you will uplift the procurement and contract management capability of staff by providing expert advice and training. You will identify opportunities to increase value for money and contribute to continuous improvement and innovative work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare procurement documents, including sourcing strategies and evaluation plans, to facilitate evaluations and evaluation processes, including contract award negotiations to achieve cost reduction and cost avoidance.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with Victorian Government Purchasing Board requirements.
  • Develop and manage multiple concurrent projects/programs, including risk identification and management, budget development and management, and resource optimization.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement, logistics, and contract management, preferably within Government.
  • Advanced management skills and a demonstrated capability to plan, monitor, and deliver multiple concurrent projects/programs.
  • A relevant tertiary degree and/or postgraduate qualifications in business management or a related discipline.
