This is a temporary role to support our team until 1 November 2026.

The position is based at Wollongong Hospital and offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, adults affected by domestic and family violence, and children presenting with problematic behaviours.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic counselling and support services in a trauma-informed environment.
  • They will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote healthier relationships and prevent domestic and family violence.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist or a Social Work degree with eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence
