Job Overview

The L1 Risk team provides comprehensive risk management services to support business operations.

  • Implementation and adherence to risk management frameworks.
  • Specialist advice, consultation, and services to identify, monitor, and manage risks.
  • Build strong risk capability and culture across the organization.
  • Risk governance and reporting.
  • Change management risk assessments for project activities.
  • Supplier risk assessment and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operational teams in implementing risk management frameworks.
  • Design controls to achieve better risk outcomes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and assist in identifying and implementing rectification actions.
  • Operational risk training programs to increase risk awareness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support reviews and audits.
  • Support business stakeholders in improving processes and assist in change management risk assessments.
  • Report on risk profiles, issues, incidents, and other matters.
  • Engage with various parts of the organization to complete necessary reviews.

Requirements:

  • Sound experience in L1 risk advisory functions.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically and use data-driven insights to solve problems.
  • Influencing and consulting skills, ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Academic or professional qualification in a related field is preferable.
