About the Role

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and rebuilding a wide range of heavy-duty mining and construction equipment following OEM guidelines.
  • Fault-finding and diagnosing equipment malfunctions are essential skills required for this role.
  • You will accurately process returns of unused or irreparable materials and work closely with the team to determine the best repair methods.

Key Requirements

  • You must have a minimum 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience with heavy machinery, preferably within the mining industry.
  • A relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic works is essential.
  • Experience in servicing, diagnosing, and fault identification in large-scale earthmoving equipment is highly valued.
  • You should be able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system drawings and schematics.
  • A strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • A current Australian driver's license is required.
  • Prior experience in CAT dealer training is advantageous.
