Transport Driver Role

In this vital position, you play a key role in our community support services by providing safe and reliable transportation for members to medical appointments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the daily cleanliness and safety of assigned vehicles.
  • Efficient routing: collect and drop off patients according to transport schedules.
  • Complete booking processes in electronic systems.
  • Build strong relationships with community organisations, hospitals, and stakeholders.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain organisational policies and procedures in line with accreditation standards.
Key Requirements:
  • Holding a valid driver's license.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
  • Previous experience as a transport driver.
  • National police certificate.
  • Driver's license.
  • Proof of work rights.
