Experienced Medical Scientist Required for Chemical Pathology Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientist to join our Chemical Pathology team. This role involves providing expert technical guidance and leadership in the delivery, development, and quality assurance of biochemistry and Point of Care Testing services.
- Coordinate and supervise the technical aspects of Complex Biochemistry and Point of Care Testing, ensuring seamless operational processes.
- Provide high-level technical expertise and strategic direction in the delivery, development, and quality assurance of biochemistry and POCT services, driving laboratory performance excellence.
- Support ongoing improvement initiatives, offer mentorship to junior staff, and contribute to innovation in testing methodologies and technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Laboratory Medicine) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Chemical Pathology with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
