Scientific Researcher Opportunities

Melbourne Pathology is one of Victoria's largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, providing high quality healthcare throughout metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.

  • Our laboratory is centrally located in Collingwood, close to Melbourne CBD and well served by public transport.

The cytology department processes a high number of CST, LBC, FNA and exfoliative samples.

A career opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and self-motivated scientist with high attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role involves Scientific Researcher Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Providing scientific expertise to support the development of new technologies and procedures.
  • Conducting experiments and analyses to develop and implement solutions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of accurate records and documentation.

This role reports to a supervisor and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
