About this role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive leader to oversee the operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will coordinate a team of mechanics, establish repair priorities, manage spare parts and stocks, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
    • Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Workshop Operations
    • Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
    • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs.
  • Inventory And Spare Parts Management
    • Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures.
  • Safety And Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
