We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Clinician. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive strengths-based assessments and formulate time-limited packages of care for consumers and their caregivers.
The clinician will work in a community setting, providing high-quality evidence-based clinical services, including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage proactively with patients and clients to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- To provide comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessments, safety planning, and collaborative care and discharge planning.
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team, exercising independent professional judgment on routine matters.
- To use computer systems to manage patient information and communicate with colleagues.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Occupational Therapy/Psychology, with registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in Mental Health interventions, with experience in community settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients and clients effectively.
