As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing home help services to our aged care clients. This includes general housekeeping and making beds, cleaning and mopping floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.
You will also be providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting with medications, mobility and therapy goals, complex care for customers with high care needs, social and emotional support, and providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Experience in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.
- Guaranteed hours and shifts in Vermont area.
- Award rate $32.74 per hour plus Super and Paid KM's.
