Vehicle Body Builder Opportunity

 

Are you a skilled vehicle bodybuilder with a passion for quality and excellence? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Victoria.

 

The Role:

We require an experienced vehicle bodybuilder/fabricator who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in vehicle bodybuilding and fabrication
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity
  • Trade qualifications in Welding/Boilermaking (or equivalent experience)

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cutting and welding materials and/or parts according to instructions
  • Sanding, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces
  • Setting up and operating hand and power tools
  • Inspecting jobs and checking them against the Job Package
  • Assisting the supervisor in moving parts and materials
  • Preparing surfaces for coating by removing grease, dirt, and rust
  • Applying paint coatings to manufactured trailers and truck bodies
  • Moving items to baking areas for drying
  • Touching up defective areas
  • Cleaning nozzles, containers, and hoses of machines
