Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Body Builder, with our host organisation located in Derrimut.

**The Role**

Our client provides a range of services and solutions for the road transportation sector and is looking for an apprentice body builder to fabricate and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, refrigerated vehicles.

The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III - Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck & Trailer.

**This Apprenticeship will focus on Heavy Vehicle Body Building which may include tasks such as;**
- Prepare and operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Monitor and maintain automotive equipment.
- Read and interpret work orders and work drawings.
- Perform basic welding, thermal cutting, heating and gouging.
- Perform mechanical cutting.
- Much more
