Job Title: Senior Maintenance Hand

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Hand to join our team at Australian Country Choice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our water supply and maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of water supply systems, including pumps, tanks, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of our property assets, including plant, equipment, fencing, and pipework.
  • Work independently to check diesel and solar pumps, monitor troughs, tanks, and turkey's nests.
  • Provide excellent observation skills, common sense, and logic to notice and report any issues or potential concerns around livestock, fences, and general infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Valid manual driver's license.
  • Great communication skills and ability to positively interact with a range of people.
  • Highly reliable and trustworthy.
  • Committed to working safely at all times.
  • Sound written and numerical skills.
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
