Safeguarding Children Specialist

Child safety is a critical aspect of ensuring the well-being and development of children. As a Child Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children and young people from harm.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality child protection services to complex cases, respecting the culture and context of each child, family, and community.
- Conduct thorough assessments, interventions, and casework to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and service providers to promote quality frontline service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in child protection.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in child protection or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
