About the Role

ATSICHS Brisbane is seeking a Practice Support Supervisor to provide support and advice to the Medical Reception Team. The successful candidate will ensure the medical administration function is conducted in an accurate and time-sensitive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the Model of Care with a focus on leading and supporting the medical reception function.
  • Manage clinic calendars, provide front-line support, and ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Handle GP referrals and patient correspondence in accordance with ATSICHS Privacy Policy and Procedures.
  • Provide effective leadership and support to the medical receptionist team.
  • Commit to quality management and continuous quality improvement processes.
Requirements
  • Current Blue Card or willingness to apply.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Certificate III Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in administration and/or service coordination.
  • Experience working within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service.
  • Knowledge of electronic Patient Management Systems such as MMEx.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of AGPAL, PIP, IHI Revenue, and MBS.
  • Interpersonal communication skills with a focus on client-focused outcomes.
