Layout Supervisor Role

We are seeking a skilled Layout Supervisor to lead our team of talented artists working on exciting new projects. This role is ideal for those who can work creatively according to the Director's vision and technical specifications.

The Layout Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the cinematographic aspects of our productions are executed successfully. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of layout artists to create production layout shots;
  • Collaborating with the production team to bid on shots and meet deadlines;
  • Working closely with the Director to maintain composition and cinematic standards;
  • Collaborating with the 2D background team in a 2.5D workflow;
  • Providing training and ongoing support for junior/mid layout artists;
  • Improving workflows and providing feedback on pipeline efficiency;
  • Keeping documentation updated;

We are looking for strong communication skills, ability to work to a verbal or visual brief, and flagging any issues in advance. Our ideal candidate has experience in leading teams, supervising layouts, and collaborating with production departments.
