Job Opportunity

Patient transport officers play a vital role in maintaining the healthcare system by ensuring timely and efficient transportation of patients to medical facilities. As a patient transport officer, you will work across various sectors including non-emergency patient transport, event health, aeromedical, industrial, mining, rescue, clinics, and more.

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals who possess a minimum Cert III Non Emergency Transport qualification and Diploma in Emergency Health Care (for Non Emergency transport shifts). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and comfortable transportation services to patients while adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities
  • Provide comfort and reassurance to patients during transportation
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transport history
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III Non Emergency Transport qualification
  • Diploma in Emergency Health Care (for Non Emergency transport shifts)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Police Check & Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
