Job Title: Legal Practice Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Legal Practice Manager to join our team. As a key member of the firm, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing law firms and possess a strong understanding of Queensland trust accounting regulations and financial management practices. You will also be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and recording of transactions in the trust account including daily receipting of trust deposits
  • Undertaking daily bank reconciliations and end of month reporting
  • Processing of all cheques and receipts
  • Management of accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparation of annual budget and financial statements
  • Preparation and lodgement of payroll, superannuation, BAS, IAS, PAYG
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in managing law firms
  • Detailed understanding of Queensland trust accounting regulations and financial management practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional manner with highly developed time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
