About our Coal Mine Operator job
The Saraji open cut mine is a coal mine located in the Central Queensland region of Australia. We are looking for experienced Dragline Operators to join our team and contribute to safe and efficient production.
This is a great opportunity to work with us in a 3D3N6X Roster within the Production team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace, maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance for mine working procedures, and work cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets.
We are looking for candidates who have minimum 2 years experience in Dragline Operating, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, and a proven ability to meet production targets.
Additional requirements include current Dragline Operating experience with 2 years of open-cut mining experience, a current RII Competency in conducting Dragline and Dozer operations, and a minimum 'C' Class Driver's license.
A competency in operating D10/D11 Dozers, Graders will be advantageous, as well as additional competencies in operating Support Equipment (Cable Reeler, Cable Tractor and Grader).
As part of our recruitment process, we conduct police / criminal background checks, medical, drug and alcohol testing, due diligence checks, right to work checks, and/or reference checks to ensure applicants' suitability for the role.
Please note that successful applicants will need to conduct a Queensland legislated coal mine workers' health assessment.
