High-Impact Lawyer - Leading Expertise in Consumer Banking Law

About the Role

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced lawyer to provide strategic legal guidance across consumer banking and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clear, commercially focused legal advice on consumer banking, corporate, and financial services matters
  • Lead contract negotiation, review and management
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regimes
  • Support executive functions and governance structures
  • Collaborate on risk management and dispute resolution strategies
Requirements & Experience

Admitted solicitor in NSW with at least 3–7 years' post-qualification experience in financial services, banking or corporate law. Demonstrated expertise in consumer and retail banking law, with ability to manage a broad portfolio of legal issues.

A strong understanding of consumer protection laws and regulations, as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
