Project Management Leadership

As a seasoned project manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and administering various contracts according to our Sales Installation Process (SIP).

This is a full-time position based in Perth, Western Australia, reporting directly to the Branch Manager of Western Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and administering contracts according to SIP.
  • Setting objectives and priorities, assigning and reviewing tasks, performance, and staffing requirements, and maintaining a resource plan.
  • Maintaining a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, and motivating field labor, setting appropriate standards of performance, and coaching the team.
  • Ensuring that installation teams maintain approved site programs, attend site meetings, and exercise line authority over all allocated installation field labor.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, government inspectors, consultants, and within the organization to understand business challenges and recommend innovative integrated business solutions.
  • Ensuring that reports, contract records, site diaries, accident reports, time sheets, and manpower charts are completed and submitted as required by organizational policies and state requirements.
  • Proactively reporting project risk and deliverable issues and participating in monthly project reviews with the branch and head office.

Requirements for Success

  • A tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering and/or an Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management of Lift and Escalator installations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter who can work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to excellence and innovation, and a good work ethic.
