About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Facilities Specialist to support our mission in Alice Springs. As a key member of our team, you will serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including facilities management organizations, design and construction contractors, site operations and maintenance teams, local utilities, and other customers.

The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project life cycles, from requirements development to closeout. Key responsibilities include planning, monitoring, coordinating, and executing complex electrical tasks, developing project plans, conducting design reviews, and obtaining project approvals.

Key Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly or ability to obtain one
  • At least 10 years of experience with facility operations, specifically electrical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architectural field
  • Familiarity with government organizations and methods of conducting business
  • Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures
  • Experience related to low and medium voltage power distribution systems in commercial and/or industrial facilities
  • Ability to estimate and produce cost estimates for facility project planning and programming
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with industry partners.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or architectural field
  • Understanding of ICS/SCADA systems and electronic controls, energy monitoring and control systems (EMCS)
  • Understanding of quality management principles, including quality assurance and quality control
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes.
