The Role

The Electrical Engineer will apply relevant knowledge, techniques, and procedures to support the safe operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems.

  • Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations, and consultations.
  • Identify requirements for facility infrastructure and system modifications, replacements, upgrades, or recapitalizations.
  • Design and develop solutions for electrical engineering challenges.
  • Review proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations supporting facility infrastructure operation and design.
  • Provide technical recommendations on system reliability, operation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and costing.
  • Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure for optimization and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Essential Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
Experience and Skills

Familiarity with power generation, distribution, load management, and data center power systems is preferred. A minimum one-year experience with building management and control systems, facilities operation, and maintenance is also desired. Project management and leadership experience is desirable.

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
