About the Role

This position plays a vital role in the formation of the Finance Operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions, collaborating with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions throughout the process.

Duties:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions throughout the process
  • Preparing and submitting reconciliations and any journals or transactions to support the reconciliations
  • Responsible for a wider range of reconciliations across the Finance Operations Department
  • Responsible for month-end task functions, such as, prepayments, accruals, capex clearing, refund clearing, cash clearing, debtors and creditors

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or 3+ years in a similar role
  • Extensive software application and data manipulation and analysis experience
  • Experience in the use of Accounting Systems
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Previous experience handling complex reconciliations
  • Team oriented
