Job Summary

The HR Business Partner plays a vital role in delivering exceptional people management advice, support and customer service to key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include workforce planning, sourcing talent, recruitment, selection and on-boarding to ensure business areas are supported with information and advice to efficiently manage talent and deliver business outcomes in line with our strategy.

The role requires collaboration with the business to understand and facilitate alignment and quality in the teaching profession, meeting compliance requirements and ensuring integrity in the HR information system.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Leverage appropriate attraction and sourcing methodologies to devise program solutions to workforce challenges.
  • Develop and issue employment contracts.
  • Provide HR support to business areas, including advice on people policies and procedures, position approval, appointment and on-boarding of new staff, probation management, variations for existing staff and general employment conditions.
  • Manage effective stakeholder relationships and engagements, build strong relationships with business areas to advise and develop leaders through coaching.
  • Identify and build programs or initiatives to deliver against key business gaps or opportunities.
  • Effectively identify and escalate complex staffing matters, such as complaints, grievances and OHS matters to specialist areas.
About You

We are seeking a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources and substantive experience in the HR field.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable current experience and capability in providing HR advice, support and services to varied clients in a complex environment.

Strong customer focus, written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide quality client service are essential.
