Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to oversee project banking operations. The successful candidate will ensure client and supplier payment terms are met, and provide timely reporting on liquidity and potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project banking operations, ensuring accurate payment processing and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models, ensuring the accuracy of financial projections.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Support the development of business cases for new projects, analyzing financial data and identifying opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance related discipline.
  • Membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
