About the Role

  • Job Summary

    The Financial Accounting Specialist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports, monitoring and managing financial transactions, and providing financial advice and support to senior management and program directors.

  • Key Responsibilities

    The key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Monitoring and managing the organization's financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and grants.
    • Providing financial advice and support to senior management and program directors.
    • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
    • Evaluating and improving financial processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

  • Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA qualification. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
